Most of the tribes in Namibia did not wear a lot of clothes at the beginning of the last century. When the Germans came into the country, the women did not like this fact. So they introduced a special Wilhelminian fashion for the Hereros, as shown on the photo. Today the Hereros a proud of this dress.
