Since March 2000 I am working with Siemens Building Technologies , a company, which offers and supplies complete solutions for building
automation systems and services. My position is Market Manager Burner Equipment. This means I am in charge of control products for heating equipment used for larger residential, commercial and industrial installations. In addition I support
the North American and the Asian/Pacific markets as a coach. I am working out of Rastatt in South-West Germany. Up until 2000 I was working with Johnson Controls, first as Engineering Manager for Mechanical products, later as Program Manager
Heating Products. Johnson Controls is another company active in the area of building automation systems. The larger part of Johnson Controls today is active on the market of car seats and the production of interior trims for the automotive
industry. My education is based on a degree in mechanical engineering. After finalizing my diploma I was employed to work on various tasks in scientific research programs or industrial contract jobs in the field of hydraulics and pneumatics.
