One of the fascinating National Parks in Namibia is the Etosha Pan. This was a big lake millions of years ago. Today this are is dry and abslolutely nothing grows there. Evaporation rate is three times higher than rainfall. Around the pan there are a few water holes that attract the animals during the dry season.
