Quiver Tree

There is not too many trees in Namibia. This one is called quiver tree, because that’s what the bushmen in the Kalahari have used it for. In this tree there is also a nest of the weaver bird, who collects dry grass to build huge homes not only in trees, but also on transmission lines.
